Our Brazilian Slate Paving is a hard-wearing and durable natural stone that will add a bold yet sophisticated feel to any garden or patio.
The variety of grey and charcoal tones throughout the lightly riven surface of our Brazilian Black Slate will create an eye-catching and unique finish that will last for decades!
Each slab is calibrated to 20mm thick and features a riven surface texture which is created when the stone is split along its natural layers, providing a truly authentic finish.
Our Brazilian Black Slate has a level of natural slip resistance and is not known to be slippery when wet. These slate slabs are designed specifically for outdoor use and we always advise taking the usual care when walking on the slabs when wet.
Slate slabs are entirely natural and will feature variations in colour, tone and pattern. This is a feature of the natural stone and the exact colours you will receive can never be pre-determined.
Take a look at the full range of product images for a great overview of some of the natural colour variations possible. Colours will appear more vibrant when wet and subtler before installation and when the stone is dry.

Coverage, Waste & Variations
The m² coverage of each product reflects the total area that the product will cover including the recommended joint widths.
As a natural product, slate is subject to natural variations in tone and colour and the exact variations that you will receive in each crate can never be pre-determined.
Each slab is calibrated with a tolerance of +/- 5mm.
We always advise ordering an additional 10-15% to account for off-cuts and waste. You can find out more about accounting for waste here.
