An allowance should be made for +/- 5mm to cover natural variations in the dimensions specified for sandstone and slate products, +/- 2mm for granite paving and +/- 10mm for cobbles & setts. Please see our Installation Guide for all the best practices for laying a patio. This is provided in order to help prevent any issues within the laying process. We always recommend seeking advice from an industry professional who can assess the specific needs of each project before work begins.
